FIRST ANNUAL CHRISTMAS GIVING

Christmas is a wonderful time of year filled with love, giving and receiving and wonder. It is this time of year as I am surrounded by loved ones and presents that I remember how truly blessed I am. It is also then that I remember that unfortunately there are many who are not as blessed. A favorite quote comes to mind "It is in giving that we receive". This year Everything After the Ring partnered with The Knotted Pearl LLC and sponsored a young man in foster care named Blake. Blake is 17 years old and lives in a group home. Despite the obvious hardships he has endured at such a young age, it hasn't slowed him down. Next year, Blake will be attending Harvard with early acceptance! Well we wanted to make sure he had a memorable Christmas this year. We were given a list of his wants and needs, some items tugging at our hearts. Some of the items included an electric toothbrush, headphones, shirts and pants, cinnamon pop tarts and an Android watch.

We reached out to past clients, friends, family members and neighbors for donations. And none to our surprise, we were able to get EVERYTHING on Blake's list! A big THANK YOU is due to everyone who was generous enough to donate. You helped make Blake's last Christmas before he becomes an adult extra special and I know it means the world to him. We are very humbled to have been given this opportunity to sponsor Blake and we wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors!
